How to apply for Github Student Developer Pack
Step 1: First of all go to the following link
Step 2: If you have a school-issued email address then you can enter your school-issued email otherwise you can choose a Gmail account.
Step 3: Now after selecting an email address, Enter your school name in the text field.
Step 4: Now answer the question "How do you plan to use GitHub?"
eg. "To learn new things".
Step 5: Click on the "Submit your Information" button.
Step 6: Now this step is very important if you don't have a school-issued email address.
- If you have your college ID card then can take a picture of it and upload it.
- If you don't have a college ID card then you can upload another proof like a Fee Receipt, Enrollment form.
Step 7: Then submit your application. You will get a reply from Github within 30 days.
If your application form rejected then follow these steps
Step 1: Go to the following link -
Step 2: And choose a response "Application is not approved(Student)"
Step 3: And in the subject and description field explain to them which document you have uploaded. (Eg. I have uploaded the fee receipt)
Step 4: After that reapply for the Github education pack and within 10 mins your account will be approved.
